The Earth was created in darkness, yet, darkness couldn’t overpower it. When the Father spoke thus, light appeared and since then, darkness has never had power of the light. The Earth is full of darkness because of sin, but the Father, out of His love for His children, just as He spoke in the beginning that “let there be light” also sent forth His Son, a Light-Bearer, so that the world may have light through Him again.
The Master spoke in the Book of John 8:12 that, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” He further said in the Book of John 9:5 that, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Jesus Christ is the light of the world and anyone who comes to Him must be ready to forsake darkness and embrace light wholeheartedly.
If you live any life that contradicts the life of the Father, then you’re living in darkness. And if you’re living in darkness, you cannot please the Father. And if you don’t please the Father, how do you expect to enter Heaven because darkness has no place there. If there’s any trace of darkness attach to your Spirit, Heaven will reject you. Jesus said in the Book of John 3:18-21 that, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practising evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
Those who hate light run away from it, lest their deed be exposed. Whenever the Father gives a message of light to His servant, so he could deliver it to His children, those who hate light will either close their inner ears or pick offence because the spirits in them hate light. If a Christian is controlled by the enemy of light, such Christian will end up in Hellfire. But I pray for you this day that Jesus Christ the Light of the world and the Light of Life whom you have chosen to serve will remove every trace of darkness away from you, so that your light can shine brighter and brighter in Jesus name. Amen!
