O that I may value and cherish the blood of my Saviour, the blood that redeemed my soul from death. Nothing I can give to my God than to surrender my life to Him absolutely. Then will my soul live and rest in peace in Him.
When Christians gather together in the church, instead of singing “I surrender all”, they should be singing “I surrender some”. If Holy Spirit enters the church and begin to examine individual, their appearance alone has judged them already without checking their heart. And if the physical is not right, how can inside be right? Many are like a dirty cup, dirty both inside and outside. But they will clean outside and leave inside because nobody can see their inside.
The Christians of old had peace with their lives because they didn’t surround themselves with the things of this Earth. They surrendered all! Today, Christians have mingled the things of this world with the things of Heaven. Christians worship properties, cars, houses. Even servants of God are not exempt. This is why the church has become the synagogue of Satan. What shall it profit you o man to gain the whole world and send your soul to eternal fire!
The Bible says in the Book of Psalms 125:1 that, “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but endures forever.” Any man who surrender all to the Father will not be moved no matter what comes his way. This led some Christians in the time of old gave themselves up for death because of persecution. They didn’t run away from death, they surrendered themselves to it. They believed in the Father by faith and they looked forward for a greater reward which is more than any reward of this Earth.
The church is full of Christians who have acquired many things unlawfully. They acquired them in sin. Yet, they have peace as they surround themselves with them. But they forgot what the Father said concerning stolen good. Whatever a man acquired unlawfully, no matter how little it may be must be returned to the rightful owner before peace can reign in his life. Many have given tangible offering to the church from another person’s pocket. But they forgot the offering of a sinner is an abomination to the Father.
Those who desire Heaven will surrender all. Boldly shall they sing this song: “I surrender all to the Master who shed His blood for me on the cross. To Him shall I willingly give my Spirit and soul. Though the world may be against me, but Christ the Redeemer of my soul will be my Guide until the end.” May the grace of our Lord be with you now and forever in Jesus name. Amen!
