Everywhere is full of churches. There are Christians everywhere. All Christians have given their lives to Jesus Christ. Different denominations offer different kinds of Sunday Service and mid-week services like bible studies, prayer meetings, night vigil, retreats, and so on and so forth. Yet, in all these, the Father and His sacrificed Son are crying everyday as Their children head to a different destination entirely. Those on Earth thought their deceased have gone home to rest, but Heaven is crying, saying ‘We cannot see them’. They’re nowhere to be found.
I used to be like every other Christian before. Not until nine years ago when the Father sought for His beloved lost son and found me, then I realised I was totally lost, contrary to what I used to believe. I could use my hands to beat my chest that surely and truly, I will enter Heaven without doubt. When the Father began to teach me, He Himself had to delete from my system many things I knew and believed before. Absolutely nothing the Father hasn’t taught me. From the weaknesses and mistakes of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, the Prophets, and all the Disciples of my Master, and why the Master was able to triumph in all things, the Father taught me everything. Therefore, if I speak, I know what I’m speaking, and I mean what I’m speaking.
When the Master called each of His Disciples to Himself, none of them objected to His call. They didn’t find things easy, but they followed Him until the end. When the Father began to teach me, He told me the reason why almost all of them were killed. I didn’t really understand what He meant. Now I understand everything very well. If anyone tells you that a sinner will go unpunished, tell that person he’s a liar.
Many of you wants to walk with Jesus, but none is ready to pay the price. Jesus Christ gave the cost of following Him in the Book of Luke 9:57-62. It’s very easy to sing that song ‘I have decided to follow Jesus; no turning back.’ It’s very sweet when you’re singing it, but the reality of it is more than what any man can bargain for.
The journey of Christianity is like a man who lived in the city and was looking for a better way of life. Somebody directed him to follow a narrow path and he obeyed. No one went with him, but he could only rely on the still voice in his heart. He followed blindly until he found himself in the middle of the forest, all alone only with wild animals. Yet, the still voice in his heart kept assuring him to fear not, that he’s not alone. No turning back! He was in this forest, grew old and died. What became of him, nobody knew. It’s left for him and the still voice he listened to throughout his lifetime.
Lord, I want to follow you! It’s very sweet. The Master will not reject you. He will tell you ‘come, follow Me’. This was why He said in the Book of John 6:37 that, “All those the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never cast away.” The choice will then be yours as you’re feeling the heat of the journey either you want to continue or go back. But I pray for you today that the power that raised the Master from the death will hold your heart firm, so you can see beyond the comfort of this Earth and see the glory that awaits you in the Land of Glory. Amen!
