The Israelites were sinners, yet, the Father sent Moses to deliver them out of slavery because of the Covenant He made with their father Abraham. They were sinners! This is the love of the Father. The same love He extended to us by sending a Redeemer to redeem our soul from the slavery of sin even when we’re languishing in sin. This is love!
When we’re living in ignorance, the Father delivered us out of His love for us and redeemed us through the blood of His Son. Since He delivered and redeemed us, He began to teach us how to live our lives, so that the enemies wouldn’t overpower us once again. Unfortunately, many of us are like dogs who go back to his vomit. The same place the Father delivered us from is where we love to go again. We’re like the Israelites who wanted to go back to Egypt. In our own case, we didn’t want to go back to Egypt, we even went back fully with our soul and body. When the evil one strikes us, we’re crying to the Father to rescue us.
The Father has paid the utmost price He could pay for our redemption. The ball is now in our court how we want to play it. If we play it well, it shall be well with us, and if we play it otherwise, we’ll manage whatever we see. Jesus Christ said in the Book of Luke 9:62 that, “No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
Healing, deliverance, and miracles all come as the aftermath of our sin. But the Father is saying to us that ‘yes, He’ll deliver us, He’ll heal us, but we should remove our hands from sin, so that whatever He does in our lives can be permanent’. This is what the Father requires from the church. Let all of us, including myself steer clear of the danger of sin. Let us stop polluting the next generation, so they can live a better life than us. But with what’s going on in the church right now, I weep for the coming generation because we’ve eaten sour grapes and teeth is coming to ache them. But the few who have determined to follow the Father in humility and obedience will reap the fruit of their labour here on Earth, not only here, also beyond the reach of man. I pray that Jehovah God, God of all flesh will give each and every one of us the grace to live our lives in accordance to His Word in Jesus name. Amen!
