When A Father Disciplines

Word From The Father

If you love your son, you’ll do everything to care for him. If he goes a wrong way, you’ll bring him back to the right way. If he does anything wrong, you’ll discipline him with a rod. If you fail to discipline him, he’ll end up on the wrong side. The fact that you discipline him doesn’t mean you want to kill him. A good father chastises his own son because he loves him, but a foolish father neglects his son whenever he does anything wrong. I Am the Almighty Father. I chastise those I love.

Many of you think you love your children by pampering them. You pampered them to the extent that evil took them away from you. If you sow a seed, it’ll germinate and grow until it becomes a tree. While it’s still young, you can bend it to whichever direction you want. But when it’s full grown, you can’t bend it anymore because the time of bending has passed. You failed to sow a good seed in the heart of your children. Every good word you speak to your children is like sowing a good seed. If you sow a good seed, you’ll reap good fruits. But if you fail to sow a good seed into the heart of your children, somebody is there who’ll help you sow an evil seed and you know that person.

All the children all of you call your children are not children at all. Evil has dominated their heart because of what you taught them. Because your parents suffered to care for you, you don’t want your children to pass through hardship, therefore, you use every luxury to train them. If luxury is no more there, what will they do? This is why you see little children who have no responsibility on their shoulder committing suicide everywhere.

I Am the Almighty God and I Am a Father. No matter how old you are, you’re still My child. If I fail to discipline you, how will you think of going to Heaven? If I neither discipline nor chastise you, that means you’re doomed for Hellfire already because I discipline those I love. The time I’m chastising you, you’re like a car in the hand of the panelbeater. You’ll feel the pains in your body as if all your bones are cracking because I want to reshape and remould you. But when I finish, you’ll thank Me in the end.

Many of My children ran away from Me because they hated My discipline. If you run away from Me, to whom shall you go? You automatically handover yourself to evil to devour. And if evil devour you, you’ll cry and run back to Me. Who is fooling who? You’re only fooling yourself. If you call Me Father today and tomorrow you say I’m no more your Father, I will not be moved. Then if you come back another day and say that I’m your Father, I will still not be moved. I know I’m your Father. But the time you disowned Me and went your own way, I may not be able to erase the bruises that your disobedience will inflict on you.

My Emphasis

Anyone who hates the Father’s discipline is called a wicked person. The Bible says in the Book of Psalms 50:16-17 that, “But to the wicked God says, "What right have you to tell of My statutes and to take My covenant in your mouth? For you hate discipline, and you cast My words behind you.”” A child who wants to live long despises not his father’s discipline. Instead, he takes it to heart and it grows with him.

As parents, if you fail to discipline your children or call them to order whenever they do anything wrong, you must pray very well that Satan doesn’t take them away from you. The world we live today has many evil doors. In fact, evil open its mouth to swallow the children of the naïve. The Bible says in the Book of Proverbs 13:24 that, “He who withholds his rod hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him diligently.” The Bible says again in the same Book of Proverbs 23:13-14 that, “Do not hold back discipline from the child, although you strike him with the rod, he will not die. You shall strike him with the rod and rescue his soul from Sheol.”

Every day by day, Satan is wasting away many heroes of the Father because of lack of parental discipline. If you visit the prisons, majority of those who committed grievous crimes are heroes of the Father. And if you interview them one by one, you’ll trace the root of their crime back to their parents. Many of these children should have been your rock, to look and care for you when your strength is gone. But because you’re in haste, you abandoned them, and somebody helped you to train them in his own way. And the result brought you sorrow in the end.

If you follow the law of the land you live, and you fail to discipline your children, the same law of the land will throw them into prison if they end up committing any crime. Who is the loser? Is it the law of the land or you? You are the loser! Who is the fool? Is it the law of the land or you? You are the fool! When you’re sorrowful on your bed, what concerns the lawmakers? The time you should have planted the seed of holiness into your children, you went your own way. If the Father gave you a child and you abandoned that child, what do you think Satan will do? He’ll help you to train him! But I pray for you today that you’ll not lose in Jesus name. And your effort upon your children will not go into vanity in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

My Task For Today

1) I will teach my children how to fear the Father.
2) I will not hesitate to discipline my children if they do anything wrong.
3) I will always sow a good seed in my children at all times.

May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus name.
